Kelly Farrell, is a co-founder of Plant-Based Strategies LLC.

As an Event Planning Professional with Customer Service expertise, she holds a certificate in Plant-based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and a certification as a hospitality consultant with Vegan Hospitality. . She has also completed the immersive Forks Over Knives Ultimate Cooking Course specializing in whole-food, plant-based meal creation techniques.

Kelly began her plant-based journey in 2017 following a thyroid cancer diagnosis.  While she originally shifted to a plant-based lifestyle for health-related reasons, she is also passionate about the impact of plant-based eating on global sustainability efforts and the reduction of animal cruelty.  

She has also enjoyed donating her time to organizations such as PlantPure Communities and The Reno Vegan Chef Challenge since 2018.

As a vegan community organizer and vegan expert in Reno, she has a certification in Plant Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, a certificate in Plant Based Diets: Food for a Sustainable Future, from Wageningen University, and a certification as a hospitality consultant with Vegan Hospitality. 

Juliette leads a plant based community group called The Biggest Little Plant Pod and has co-organized the annual Vegan Chef Challenge in Reno and advocates for The Plant Based Treaty. She has been plant based since 2010, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the vegan dining experience.

 “By sharing what I know about vegan and plant based lifestyles with my community and consulting work, my aim is to help effect change, to make everyone a little kinder to their health, the animals and the planet”.
